Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Sherif

Mohamed Ahmed Sherif is a postdoctoral researcher at the Agile Knowledge Engineering and Semantic Web research group at University of Leipzig. In 2016, he finished his doctorate with at the University of Leipzig under the title "Automating Geospatial RDF Dataset Integration and Enrichment". Mohamed's main research fields are machine learning, link discovery specially for geospatial data, semantic web data integration and enrichment. Mohamed developed number of algorithms for link specification learning, data repair, load balancing and spatial/temporal relation discovery. Currently, Mohamed is leading the EU research project SLIPO and partake in many other projects such as HOBBIT, GEISER, SAKE and LinkingLOD2. Also, he is the main developer of the DEER framework and one of the main developers of the LIMES framework.
